Restaurant La Carcasse

Very very good food, for a reasonable (but far from cheap) price. Meats were good, tartares were good, and deserts were very good too. Service was not good. The staff were pleasant but it was very slow... We were there 2.5 hours and only got served water twice... We were outside on the terasse, which is quite nice but there is no lights... once it got dark, they set up little fake candles, but it wasn't enough and we all had a hard time seeing the food we had in our plate, one of us having to take his phone's flashlight to see what he was eating. Also, the terasse, in summer, isn't heated (probably never, really). As long as the sun is up, it was fine, but once it got dark, everyone from the skinniest to the burliest of us were frozen. They do have a few covers they lend out, which was helpfull. I'd go back, but not too late and it would be their last chance if the service is as slow.

Amazing food and the place is very nicely and cozy. Their Sunday specials are great too for the price. The only downside is that their parking is very small and they are in a semi-industrial area so finding parking is a bit hard. But worth it!

A small restaurant offering good food.

Excellent food and bring your own wine concept. This place is great in the summer as they have a big terrace outside. Strong recommend for you to try it out if you are in the neighborhood.

It's been a long time since I wanted to try it but unfortunately we were very very disappointed ..... steak really overcooked, very flat side dish for 45 $ it's theft !! 2 people at my table we ate salmon tartare and we were sick! The rest was ok but nothing more. The service was poorly organized. We had to get up several times to get utensils, water and bills. Nice terrace but we will not go back ...

This place is excellent! Good prices, big dishes and the staff members are constantly very welcoming.

Very nice restaurant, very delicious meals, large portion, beautiful country atmosphere wow, a flat on the other hand, put people out whether you finished your meal or not, not had time to finish our dessert or even our coffee, at price we pay for our supper, at least letting people finish .. feeling rushed to eat, and being forced out .. not very pleasant.

It was my first time there, and the food, service, ambiance and cleanliness were all great. Not 1 person was disappointed with their meal, and we were a group of 10, including 1 small child and 1 toddler. Very attentive people and super tasty food

Nice restaurant for a lovely dinner with your wife or with a couple of friends. I'm loving the BYOW concept. Their tartars are amazing but so is the rest. Their prices are fair depending on what you take. They run some specials during the week. Service has been great for me, I always get the same waiter and he's good! The only downside is their new location in St-Constant. As much as I like their new house, it's getting a bit far for someone who lives in Longueuil. I preferred their initial Candiac location. But still, it's worth the trouble for me to go as often as possible. If you like this restaurant, you may enjoy "La belle et la barbe" from the same owner in St-Hubert. Enjoy!

First time here for the ten of us. Everyone was very happy with their meal, atmosphere was relaxed and the service exceptional. Most of us had beef and the veggies and fries were done just right. Definitely will be coming back to try other dishes. 👌

No English menu or English speaking waiters, although they are very nice. It's a good thing we went on Sunday for the 25% off deal, the pricing was just right for the food quality. Took about an hour to get our food from when we ordered.The interior design is really nice and rustic, I can only imagine how beautiful it must be when the terasse is open.

I went to eat there last night with one of my friends. It's excellent, I would even say more, it's exquisite. The service is more than perfect!

The food was delicious, the service outstanding from beginning to end ... But I'm surprised that there was no changing table, despite the very attentive staff I changed the diaper of my daughter on a napkin on the floor of the bathroom ...

I've been here several times over the past couple of months, and truly enjoyed the restaurant. However, I ate there last night, and it was horrible. The kid who brings the bread needs to stop stuffing his face while working, and not walk around chewing on bread. Paying customers arrive hungry, and this kid eats away, delaying getting our bread.Also, the food was horrible. I had the short rib special, and it came out cold twice; cold out of the fridge. My wife had the filet mignon, medium rare, and she also had to send it back (came well done). Second round on the filet mignon was a little better, but still not proper.Manager came over, and didn't even offer a compensation for any of our troubles. Needless to say, we won't be returning.

Quaint restaurant! Large terasse! Reservations a must. I had the lamb and it was absolutely delicious. Will definitely come again. It is a BYOW which is always great. Highly recommend!!
